1. Overview
InsightFrame helps creators turn search-trend screenshots into editable photo stories. The app does not require a traditional user account. Saved keyword projects and creation history are primarily stored on your device.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your projects to build advertising profiles.
2. Information we handle
Content you choose to provide
- Screenshots you select for keyword scanning.
- Keywords, creative directions, slide copy, captions, and style choices used to create a story.
- Messages you send to our support email.
App and device information
- A randomly generated device identifier used to connect credits, subscriptions, and purchase validation to the app. It is stored in iCloud Keychain when available.
- App version, language, region, bundle identifier, and the date and time the app records a launch heartbeat.
- Credit balance and credit-operation records needed to provide scanning and creation features.
- Apple purchase information such as product ID, transaction ID, subscription status, expiration information, and purchase environment.
Photo library access
InsightFrame uses Apple’s system photo picker so you choose which screenshot to share with the app. When you export, the app requests permission to add finished images to Photos. The app does not need broad access to browse your entire photo library.
Website information
This website does not include advertising trackers or account sign-in. Our hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
3. How we use information
We use information only as needed to:
- Extract keyword opportunities from a screenshot you submit.
- Create slide text, captions, and visual backgrounds you request.
- Save and reopen your projects on your device.
- Validate purchases, provide credits, and display subscription status.
- Measure app launches through a lightweight heartbeat.
- Prevent duplicate credit grants, fraud, and abuse.
- Provide support, maintain reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Storage and retention
On your device
Keyword projects, creation history, slide settings, captions, and downloaded background images remain on your device until you delete them, clear keyword data, or remove the app. Keychain data may remain available after reinstall and may synchronize through iCloud Keychain.
On our services
The story-generation service processes requests without maintaining a long-term database of your keyword projects or creation history. Credit, purchase, subscription, device-activity, security, and operational records may be retained for as long as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, meet accounting requirements, and comply with law.
Third-party processing
Providers that process AI or image requests may retain information according to their own agreements and policies. We limit the information sent to what is reasonably needed for the requested feature.
6. Your choices
- Choose whether to import a screenshot or save images to Photos.
- Delete individual keywords or creations inside the app.
- Use Settings to clear all keyword projects and creation history.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Contact us to ask a privacy question or request help relating to service-side records.
Some purchase and transaction records may need to be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted app-to-service communication and Apple Keychain storage for the device identifier. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Children
InsightFrame is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law to consent to online services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
9. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and apply the protections described in this policy.
10. Policy changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. We will change the effective date above and provide additional notice when required by law.
